d3frk GunMoney is a free, hobby, community-run Urban Terror server. These Terms keep it fair for everyone and set out the important legal bits. Please read them — by using the Service you agree to them.
By accessing this website, connecting to the game server, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The “Service” means, together, this website, the d3frk GunMoney modded Urban Terror 4.3.4 game server, and our associated community channels (such as our Discord). It is provided free of charge as a non-commercial hobby/community project by its volunteer operators (“we”, “us”, “our”). We may change, suspend, limit or discontinue any part of the Service — including wiping databases, resetting the economy, or shutting down entirely — at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live (if you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian). The game depicts realistic firearm combat and is intended for a mature audience. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is lawful in your country.
In-game “money”, “SuperCoins”, the “jackpot”, scores, ranks and similar items are entirely virtual and fictional. They exist only inside the game, for entertainment. They:
No real money is ever staked, wagered, or won. The “jackpot” and any similar features are in-game entertainment mechanics using valueless virtual tokens — they are not gambling, betting, a lottery, or a game of chance for money or money's worth, and nothing on the Service is an offer or opportunity to win anything of real-world value. We give no guarantee that any virtual balance or progress will be preserved.
You agree that you will not:
Access to the Service is a revocable privilege. We may warn, mute, kick, ban, restrict, or permanently remove any user, name, or content, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, at our sole discretion — including to protect the community even where no rule was clearly broken. Because the Service is free, no refund, credit, or compensation of any kind is owed for any suspension, ban, loss of virtual items, downtime, or discontinuation.
You are solely responsible for everything you submit through the Service — including your player name, chat messages, and anything sent via the contact form (“Your Content”). You confirm you have the right to submit it and that it does not break these Terms or any law. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, irrevocable licence to host, store, use, reproduce, display, and moderate Your Content as needed to operate and promote the Service (for example, showing public chat and leaderboards on the website). We may remove or refuse any content at our discretion, and we are not responsible or liable for user content.
The website, its design, layout, code, text, and the “d3frk GunMoney” branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from them without our permission, except as allowed by law.
This is an independent, fan-run community server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Frozen Sand, LLC, id Software, ZeniMax, Discord, or any other company. “Urban Terror” is a trademark of Frozen Sand, LLC; “Quake” and related id Tech technologies are trademarks of id Software LLC / their owners. The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (such as Discord and our hosting provider). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, sites, or content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the Service entirely at your own risk. We do not warrant that any data, statistics, virtual balances, or availability will be accurate, preserved, or continuous.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our operators, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, virtual items, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, however caused and on any theory of liability.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you actually paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £10 GBP — and because the Service is free, this will normally be nil.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. If you deal with us as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our operators, staff, and volunteers from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or of any third party's rights.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be announced on our Discord. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you use the Service as a consumer resident elsewhere, you may still benefit from any mandatory protections of your local law, and this clause does not deprive you of them.
